My Mental Technician
My MT does her thing
Bringing those drills
And making me think!
She dutifully comes to the door
And performs her chore:
Questions and answers . . .
Well, I can’t remember,
But the mind is worked
By drills without pills.
“Strategy” is the key!
Need a technique to deal
With the brain as it reels
And rolls along and feels
Quite weary with things to recall.
Just can’t remember it all,
But it seems good to attempt
And not from efforts to relent,
So onward to prompt that brain
To think, recall, and even strain.
