No worry ’bout Daniel Best;
A follower of Jesus, He’s at rest!
No matter what the “might ‘a’ been”;
He’s up there with all our kin:
Yeah, those followers of our Lord,
Who, with Him, never get bored.
‘T ain’t easy to press on in the Word
In a world where it seems absurd
To put your trust in the One
Who was more than just the Son of Man
But, truly, the very Son of God.
Gonna drag us out o’ this sod;
Bring us right out o’ the ground.
Oh! Gonna be a glorious sound!
