“The Court” Dumped Roe!
Well, “The Court” finally dumped Roe!
Is that what you needed to know
Before you could save a baby?
Your mind and soul must be shady!
Need a judge to authorize compassion?
(A bomb, a match, and some action?)
Who gave the command to love one another?
Is not that one in the womb your brother?
We got “neighbors” all over the place.
(This race takes up some space!)
The call is always there to serve;
Muster yourself and get some nerve.
When you find someone in a mess,
Help him out of his distress.
That service will give you a peace
To go through your life with more ease.
Don’t need a judge to approve what is true
You’ve got His word and know what to do.
Do what is right or He’s through with you!
Says, “Faith without works is dead.”
Don’t let “mercy” go to your head.
And yet, His love is there every day,
Compelling us to walk in that holy way.
Between good and evil, discriminate!
Followers of His Law make Him look great.
