Sprinkle that Blood (and that Water)!
(2 Chron 30:16-31:1)
You got a brother on the battlefield
Almost dead and resting in your arms;
Wants Jesus in his final hour.
You gonna tell him He’s got no power
Unless he gets put down with a dunk?
Can’t give him a simple sprinkle
Like the blood that was spread on the people?

Where they sprinkled the blood of the lambs!
Check out chapter thirty and verse sixteen
And train your senses to be keen
On what is true, right, and good:
To baptize a person in any neighborhood.
Sprinkle, splash, dump, or pour
That water of life over any kind o’ whore
We thirsty sinners take in how it’s given
Thankin’ God for that Spirit bringin’ livin’
Water to the door our rebel, wicked hearts
And gives us brand new everlasting starts.
