Bob Dole Went the Way of All Flesh

Bob Dole went the way of all flesh
(We’ll all be humbled by death.)
Knowing the truth and living for it
Is all that really matters in the end.
Did you shine in that political light?
And did you do what you knew was right?
Did you stand for justice and truth?
How about those babies in the womb?
Yeah, it’s THE issue – bigger that slavery;
To fix it will take some bravery.
Buck up to your call, politicians;
Sing us a song, you musicians.
Call the nation to repentance, now
Burn the “clinics” down or use a plow.
Bring an end to the butchering of babies;
Now’s the time; stop with the “maybe”s.
