Accustomed to Sin
We get accustomed to sin!
First we tolerate and then embrace
What is patently condemned by God
In His Word and by our consciences.
The slaughter of children in the womb,
Renamed with that reasonable “planning,”
Is a tragedy of holocaustal proportion.
One easily shifts his mind to slavery,
That gross sin built upon manstealing:
The crime of the Fathers of the nation.
That evil, tolerated, is soon embraced
And thrives under the gaze of the saints.
Does the innocent blood still flow?
Has the holocaust been rejected and overcome?
Do we live in a land self-declared “under God”?
We must buck up and act like it rather than recoil
And leave the nation to the heathen to foil.
Proclaim the Truth and forge ahead,
Shunning the heathen who favor the dead,
Rejecting the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
(Yes, preachers of Truth bring on the strife!)
