Author of A Time To Kill

He Will Come

What can be said of forty and five?
Walking and talking?  Still alive?
Got a house and a job and health
By world standards great wealth?
Eleven and fifteen without teens
Lots of  little ones on the scene
Got plenty of spirit and words
Pens and key board and like chords
I type out tunes that need playing
In a world where all are saying
There is no standard for all
And with such hubris and gall
Acting as if the God above
Is all about peace and love
With no concern for all of us
And the reckoning of justice
But it will done, He will come
Wrap it all up and then some.
