‘Twas a submontane city
Where I met my Pretty
Denver was a place to go
My sister recommended
There she had attended
A college near her beau
That Academy in the Springs
And so I went unprepared
But with the desire to know
The Book and to get a look
Closer at what the Lord said
To the world he had made
Which had fallen quite away
From His original intent
For those creatures with a bent
Toward the obtuse and self abuse.
Met a man named Jon
Who had a Message for the world
And so that new translation
Has been the sensation!
