Darlene Brison Executes Adulterous Mate

27 April, 2019

That title above might have been the headline story regarding 56-year-old Darlene Brison’s killing of  49-year-old Reginald Stewart.   Instead, the title of the story presented by Riverfronttimes.com is  “He Called Me a One-Eyed Bitch… So I Shot Him,” Accused Murderer Says  (See https://www.riverfronttimes.com/newsblog/2019/04/25/he-called-me-a-one-eyed-bitch-so-i-shot-him-accused-murderer-says?utm_source=widget&utm_medium=articleblog&utm_campaign=rightrail&utm_content=MorebyThisAuthor)

Other summary assessments offered by Miss Brison and included in the Riverfront report were: “He kicked me and called me a one-eyed bitch, so I got my .22, and I shot him!” and “He out fucking another bitch, too, and wanna call me a one-eyed bitch, so I killed that motherfucker.”

What is one to make of this case?  Must this woman be charged with murder? Or might she be vindicated with a justifiable homicide conclusion?   Maybe something in between will do – surely some insanity defense may be construed.

If her man committed adultery and merited the death penalty and she meted out justice under the fair assumption that she would get no justice from “the law,” might she not be granted some leniency?
