Comey and Cohorts

Comey and cohorts are apparently due for treason charges.  The catcher may be getting caught.  An excellent summary of the Comey crimes is provided by Joseph E. diGenova, a former U.S. Attorney (“The Politicization of the FBI,” Imprimis, Mar. 3, 2018).  He says:

In the course of this plot, FBI Director James Comey, U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch, FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, FBI Deputy Director of Counterintelligence Peter Strzok, Strzok’s paramour and FBI lawyer Lisa Page, FBI General Counsel James Baker, and DOJ senior official Bruce Ohr — perhaps among others — compromised federal law enforcement to such an extent that the American public is losing trust . . .

I spent my early legal career as a federal prosecutor. I later supervised hundreds of prosecutors and prosecutions as a U.S. Attorney and as an Independent Counsel. I have never witnessed investigations so fraught with failure to fulfill the basic elements of a criminal probe as those conducted under James Comey. Not since former Acting FBI Director L. Patrick Gray deep-sixed evidence during Watergate has the head of the FBI been so discredited as Comey is now. . .

A great disservice has been done to the dedicated men and women of the FBI by Comey and his seventh floor henchmen. A grand jury probe is long overdue. Inspector General Horowitz is an honest man, but he cannot convene a grand jury. We need one now. We need our FBI back.

It was back in early February when Rep. Paul Gosar (Arizona) had called for the prosecution of  Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein for their “illegal misconduct and abuse of FISA.” He said their actions showed “clear and convincing evidence of treason”  His concerns are finally getting some traction.

There is something about the resonance of shameless fornicators who prance around as public figures.  The message to the public is one which conveys approval of immorality and Lawlessness.  “Truth” and “justice” become evolving ideas that change with the times and the old versions can be cast away as the new are temporarily embraced as “good for moment.”

Fornicators may think their misdeeds mere peccadilloes and in time lose their respect for the rest of the Laws of God;  murder and  lying become “no big deal.”

Why is it that I suspect that these suspects – all seven of them: Comey, Lynch, McCabe, Strzok, Baker, and Ohr – are all pro-sodomite and pro-abortion sympathizers?  (I will put my money on it!) There is something about the culture of Lawlessness. When God’s Law is cast aside, the winds of the fads de jour blow in and sweep clear the mind of any affection for the Big Ten which are ingrained in the spirit by the Spirit.   The Godless, the Lawless, go with the flow, the Zeit Geist – the trends which men, free from Truth and Law, tend to follow.  Ever downward.

And what should be the penalty for such treason?  Especially when it comes at the hands of those trusted with power?  Historically speaking, it is not light but quite capital.
