Have yourself a merry little Christmas;
“The fates” got nothin’ on you.
Jesus bought your life
And He will take you through,
So have yourself
A merry little Christmas true!

Don’t you know that Santa Claus ain’t comin’?
Yeah, he’s a real nice guy;
Gives you lots of dreams and hope
So you’ll shun do-o-o-ope,
But to save your soul
Don’t even need to bring your soap.

Trust in Him with all your wicked heart;
He can give you power.
Live your life for Him
Each and every hour.
You follow him,
And He will take away your sin.
