Have yourself a merry little Christmas
Got nothin’ to do with those “fates”!
All about that Jesus the Messiah
The Lord of heaven ab-o-o-o-o-ve yuh,
So get yourself to repe-e-ntance
So that you can join the dance
Way up there with Him in the sky
In that place where no one dies.
Give Him praise all of your days
Steadfast in His ways
Buck on up and stand for the Truth
Might even have to loose a tooth!
Won’t been there up in heaven
Make sure you get there and leaven
Lives of others who follow hard
After that most holy Bard
He gives that daily vital inspiration
Needed for our lives
We need Him for many-a situation
Not just those of de-e-spe-e-ra-a-ation
But in ev-e-ry kind of gig
Got to look for so – – – mething big
He takes care and even while we stare
When there’s nothing more we can bear.
