A Good Wife

She was more than a chatelaine
My lady known as Jayne
A beautiful lover and  mother.
Maybe in books you find another
Like her but not in real life:
The best one can think of in a wife.
And it is good on such to think,
For time flies and in a wink
Children will step up to the plates
And soon enough find their mates,
And more little ones beget,
Letting us then never forget
That all good things come from above
And He has not shorted us of His love.
On we’ll all go to find our call
And finally walk down that hall
Where He waits on the other side
With a smile and arms opened wide.
