Sibling Sorrow
The bro or sis I could have had
Had my parents not been so selfish.
O what I missed by their choice.
I had no voice in their “decision”
The foolishness of those who choose
Their lifestyles above the Law
Putting first things they saw,
The troubles that might have been
But never came.
Yes stupid and lame, were they
Indeed, ignorant of our real need
To trust and obey
Everyday.
There is no other way
