Love the Lord Your God (Deut. 11)

Love the Lord Your God
Always keep His statutes
Mighty hand and outstretched arm
Keep us from any real harm
Signs and works in Egypt He did
While from harm His people hid
And what He did to Egypt’s army!
Smacked  ’em down, made ’em smarmy!
Soaked ’em in that Sea of Red
The whole army good and dead
Yeah He put on them His dread.
“Blessing” He said if you obey
Pain and misery if you go astray
On Gerizim and Ebal
Laid it out for them all:
“Do all my judgments and statutes
Or I’ll be comin’ after yous”
