The Foul Fallen Nature of Man
Abortion will go the way of slavery.
The people will wonder at its prevalence:
The toleration of it by the masses!
How deep is the decadence of man
That such a horror was tolerated –
Even popular about so many!
Just a strange foible of human history?
Oh, but ’tis really no mystery.
It is as it is declared in God’s word:
The fall of man was a thing quite absurd;
The creature rebelled against the Creator!
And he’s not just a victim but an instigator.
The foul fallen nature is polluted with sin,
Falling deep into darkness beyond the din.
By the grace of God mankind recovers
And then, as always, pursues his druthers,
Never content to abide in Justice and Law,
Always looking to fondle and wiggle the paw.
