Heard a Ditty on the Radio
Well, He’s more than a BFFL;
He’s the Judge and Lord of the world
As well as your Savior from hell.
Indeed He can be your “friend” –
Yes, your Best Friend For Life.
But unlike fine folks, like your wife,
He is the Creator and Lord of the universe.
He rules the world and calls he shots,
Calling you from greed and that pot.
He is the Holy One to whom worship is due;
And must be served your whole life through.
But, indeed, with pleasure this we do!
He is the Ruler and Judge as well as Savior.
And so we do ourselves an eternal favor
In following Him and giving Him glory.
And that must summarize our story.
