On Heretics
Perhaps you are a false “Witness”
Following the alleged way of “Jehovah.”
Or maybe you’re a polytheistic Mormon
Looking to win extra planets to rule.
Or a champion of another “Way”
Led by a deceived, Victor Wierville.
All these false teachers fail in the same
“Way” rejecting the one true triune God!
Yes, forever He lived, the Three in One
The Holy Spirit, the Father and the Son.
And Wierville, though a lesser known fraud
Was no better than any other deceivers
Among the heretics who reject the Father,
The Spirit, and that Son who hung for us.
The eternal God was in fellowship with Himself
For an eternity before He made a single angel!
That’s a long time to be ruling the earth alone.
But this God, the Trinity, was never by Himself.
The Spirit, Father, and the Son were having fun
And decided to delight in the making of a world
Where people, created with moral standing and
Endowed with a soul and ability to choose,
Were granted the chance to disobey and to die
Only so that He could demonstrate the lengths
He would go to bring them back into His company
And to live with Himself – Father, Son and Spirit –
Ever together, and from Him never to be severed.
