The True Triune God

The true God, who existed for an eternity before making anything – including angels – existed alone, completely content, complete, self-contained, dependant upon nothing.

If you are calling upon another god other than the Triune God (of the Scriptures), you are an (unwilling, perhaps) idolater – indeed, calling upon a false god.

You may be a Mormon, a Jehovah’s Witness, a Wierville Wayist, a Judaist, or a liberal “Christian” who follows “the god of my understanding.”  Whatever your plight, you are an idolater: simply, if rudely and straightforwardly, put.

But it must be straightly and firmly stated.  He who denies the Son (who is fully God and fully man) speaks as anti-Christ.

So we are clearly admonished by John in his first epistle.  Anti-Christ folks will not be well-received by God come Judgment Day.  So, get your doctrine straightened out, your mind and spirit right and join with His people to worship the One Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus, God the Son, came down from heaven from His everlasting fellowship with the Spirit and the Father, was incarnated – became a man.  He bore the sin of all the world, died, and – conquering death – rose again to life eternal.  He ascended into heaven to be with the Father and the Spirit, from whom He will one day return and take His followers (dead and alive) to be with the Father and the Spirit (and all the angels) forever.

If you have drifted off the path and followed a heretic, there is still hope.  Repentance, confession of sin (false doctrine) and profession of the Truth – the triune God and Savior: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – is the solution.

Your purpose is to obey Him and bring Him glory. The primary means of advancing His glory is through the (local) church: the “body of Christ” present throughout the earth where the Gospel has been preached and obeyed.

Get with His people. Worship and obey Him!
