On a Unified Church
I say unity was brought by abortion
Givin’ up our Bible contortions
Focusing on the truth that counts,
Not the trivia that doesn’t amount
To anything that feeds the soul
Or advances justice by His law.
Gotta get your doctrine straight
To get through that holy gate!
Or be a Baptomethpresluthocostian
Gettin’ on with anybody you can!
If you want to get with the Lord
And the churches got you bored,
You can join a new denomination
With a tongue-tinglin’ sensation!

Church Unity? Indeed!
Where is the unity of the church well displayed?
Where but at the “crisis pregnancy centers” throughout the country! Those places which aid women who are carrying an unwanted or inconvenient child in the womb.
When the real issues of truth and justice appear, the Churches of God – of all denominations – are in harmony in support of the oppressed and in opposition to the perpetrators of evil.
