Music and Wanderings
Music is the way to go;
Preachers say nothin’
He don’t already know!
Said he knows the Word inside and out,
So give him the music to praise Him.
Can’t do enough of that!
His Spirit falls on this poor vat
And His praise he pours out
With or without the vocal clout.
Down a wander-some road
He found himself a friend,
A Baptomethpresluthocostian!
Got their differences all worked out,
So their unity they wanted to spout.
Well, he listened right to the very end
And decided he could be a true member.
Got a membership class in November;
‘Twas a problem now for him in December.
Didn’t want to wait a year to join the church;
Found himself in just a horrible lurch.
