Sometimes You Pray . . .

(Ps. 104:35-105:7)
Sometimes you pray for someone to die
(Sorry, ’tis what it says if you read your Bi!
Right in Psalm one-o-four, verse thirty-five.)
“Let sinners be consumed from the earth!
Better that they never had a birth!”
O what a day it’s gonna be;
No time left for drinkin’ that tea!
Give some thanks and call upon His name;
Like they say, “You’ll never be the same!”
Make His deeds known among the peoples (v. 1)
In the jungle or among the steeples.
Sing praises and tell about His wonders; (v. 2)
Don’t be thinkin’ ’bout your blunders!
Talkin’ ‘about glory to His holy name; (3)
You’re no longer by sin made lame!
Runnin’ after Him, now, day after day, (4)
Those marvels and judgments from His mouth,
In east, west, north, and south. (7)
