Latrine Levity

or
“Ho, ho, ho! To the Latrine I must Go!”

To an “off-loading” I must undergo
“It’s a gas,” I say – “Ho, ho, ho!”
Got to get to that latrine
Soon! Or I’ll be mean!
Yes, I hate to leave this scene;
Y’all are not bad company,
But when the time comes for me to pee,
I must stop smokin’ or drinkin’ tea.
A fella’s got to know that priority.
So get on board with what’s real;
Not your fun I’m tryin’ to steal!
Get on with some fine discourse
Without regret or any remorse.
I’ll be back soon enough
To instruct and make you tough.
