In a Jam?

When you find yourself in a jam:
“He’s better than you and I am
In looks, wits, and appearance!”
Just remember that at the clearance
Of all the fakery and facade
When all are facing God,
What will matter will be our deeds:
Justice and meeting peoples’ needs.
You know He’s the Great Intercessor
And he listens to the confessor.
So get on with your profession;
God’s gift is your obsession.
Got to do what he drives you to,
The fallen word to undo.
Surely a new age is comin’!
Quit screwin’ around and bummin’.
