What a friend was Jonadab!
Had a plan for Dave to get laid:
“You play like you’re sick,” he said. (5)
“She’ll come right to your bed.”
So Amnon went on with the plan:
“Lie down like a real sick man (6)
And when the king comes to check on you
You can tell him just what he can do!”
Well, Tamar took the cakes to Amnon
And he jumped that girl and got it on (11)
(What a world we’re trying to get through;
Got to rate things higher than a screw!
Take on that life they call real new;
Think about all that He did for you!)
When the time came for Him to come down,
He did not mess around!
Got it all done so you can have fun.
Get busy with Him and on the run.
