Nothin’ But a Fool

The thing David done was wrong
And so came many-a song
About chasin’ after wily women
(It’s that story that keeps on givin’).
It happens from year to year,
Somethin’ you’re always gonna hear
From time to time again
Right to the very end.
Don’t chase after wily women!
Tellin’ you it ain’t no good!
You’ll be out in that neighborhood,
Before you know it’s all over
You be down messin’ round
And be lookin’ like a clown
Messin’ up on your wife
Throwin’ away your life.
He was nothing but a fool!
You got to keep your cool.
Keep it in your pants
Don’t fall into that dance.
