By the Minute
I pump ’em out by the minute
In the morning without warning
From the spirit to the mind
Down the arms to the pen
There again and again
Yeah, every morning!
It is the way to start the day
Always plenty to say
Pondering Him Who did not delay
In supplying us a solution
To self-make pollution,
That sin ever present
In our minds and hearts dwelling
To outright rebellion
Driving us, like any hellion,
To paths away from Him
Who dragged us from the din
Of this world and all the sin
Locked deep in every heart
O the Son gave us a new start!
