Humbled By Death
We will all be humbled by death
Sent to that place of eternal rest
And for the blessed it is the best,
That very entry way into the light
Where eternal bliss is found
And does indwell and surround
Each one of those residents
Dwelling with opposition quelled
Against the One who reigns forever
And never again to be drawn away
From the Truth, serving night and day
The One who came down
And now wears that eternal crown.
Yes ’tis that life following strife
That this world ever brings
But ’til then we press on and sing
Praises in honor of our only King
