Judges 10

God sent that evil spirit
‘Tween Abimelech and those of Shechem,
That violence to Jerubbaal might come.
Jair judged for twenty-two years,
Had thirty cities, sons, and donkeys,
Died and was buried in Kamon,
But his kids did evil once again.
Forsook the Lord!  Did not desire Him!
And His anger, yes once again,
Burned strong against them!
Said, “Did I not deliver you back when
From Egyptians, Amorites and Ammon?
Yeah, Philistines, Sidonians, and Amalekites?
Oh I delivered you from lots of fights!”
Then said Israel, “We’ve sinned and served Baal!
We don’t deserve nothin’ but hell!”
Yeah, He sent those sons of Ammon
Right down upon their heads
Had to dump those foreign gods
Before they wound of dead!
