You Can Get a Divorce!

Well, you can get a divorce
One two three
And never come back
Don’t you see?
It’s a thing that’s final
You’ve been set free
From all that trouble
To be what you want to be
Takin’ it slow or on the double.
But when it’s said and done
And you’ve had your fun
Still that race to be run
Is there before you
And ain’t nothin’ to it
But to buck up and do it.
Lest the Lord strike you with an itch
To be healed from which
There is not way,
So seize the day!
Make peace with your mate
Go out on a date
Before it’s too late
