His Name Was Samaru

His name was Samaru and
The Hindus thought he was through.
They killed him for sure
But his name does endure.
Samaru is a name to remember.
The news came in December,
The Voice of the Martyrs report,
That the soldiers of Hinduvta
Refused those who said Hallelujah.
O but “Praise the Lord” say we
That Samaru was true to the King.
He preached the word, failed not to sing
The praises due and the words true,
Yes, praises to the King
Who will raise this son to life,
Good deeds and all the strife
Unforgotten by the Ruler and Judge
Who from justice will never budge.
