What an encouragement are these Americans – indeed, these Alabamans! They have taken up the “sanctuary city” notion and applied the popular leftist tool in a pleasingly righteous manner! They are calling their city “a safe city for pre-born children.” Indeed, so said the city council passing a resolution declaring it to be so. I wanna go there! Or maybe we can get our city to do the same. What sluggards we all are -tolerating the tyrannical dictates of a band of rogues in robes known as SCOTUS. If cities can be made to harbor illegal aliens, why not harbor the children of legal citizens. And to help parents who might be confused about the difference between a “blob of tissue” and real child (sometimes medically referred to by the biological expression – “fetus”). But be aware and encouraged by this wise course of action.
Let all towns that wish to “do something” when they think themselves unable to influence that SCOTUS thing over there in that D.C. “swamp” just do this “sanctuary city” thing! While it is a given that we cannot learn morality from lefties, we can learn tactics from them. (Let us humble ourselves and learn.)
