Judge Orlando Garcia and the Clintonistas: Perverters of Law

26 February, 2014

U.S. Federal Judge Orlando Garcia (Fagophile Apparent) on Feb. 26, 2014 declared the sodomite “marriage” (a.k.a. “same-sex marriage”) ban, lawfully established by the people and the government of Texas, to be “unconstitutional.” This tyrant (a Clinton-appointee), who is apparently a disciple by that lascivious, perverted and disgraced president, ruled as follows:

“Without a rational relation to a legitimate governmental purpose, state-imposed inequality can find no refuge in our United States Constitution,” Garcia wrote. “These Texas laws deny plaintiffs access to the institution of marriage and its numerous rights, privileges, and responsibilities for the sole reason that Plaintiffs wish to be married to a person of the same sex.”

Imagine that – denying marriage to people who want to bestow the title of marriage upon that which is not.  And if one wishes to “marry” his dog or cat or bird or son or daughter or grandmother, would the judge allow “marriage” to such because the state’s “sole reason” for denial was that such “unions” were not marriages?

But how stupid, how absolutely inanely asinine!

What else can one do but spit at such imbecility.

Sadly, we live in another Time.  A more ideal Time – as the one from which we have departed – would not stand for such public assaults upon the rule of law and that long-standing Law of God which supplanted the Roman law code as the basis for legal systems of the West.  We have left that time when the Law of God was understood to be the foundation from which all other laws and regulations would be developed.

But today’s citizens are themselves Lawless, happy to just enjoy whatever they can suck out of this passing life until they go on to the next one where they expect to meet that benevolent, merciful, indulgent, grace-giving, sin-overlooking, Santa Claus god who doesn’t worry so much about that sin thing, but wants us all to have a good  time.  Yes, it is all about joy and happiness and that happiness comes, of course, from doing you own thing.   And, after all, “Who can judge?”  Certainly not we Christians!  We are all about mercy and tolerance!

Misrepresenting the dealings of the Almighty with nations so, we do our countrymen a disservice.  The grace he sovereignly dispenses to His own  (i.e. those to whom He imputes righteousness on the basis of the atoning work of Christ) is not to be confused with His dealings with the lawlessness in the world – with the sins of nations, states, households, and persons.  He judges sinful deeds in this world and that action does not obviate the personal redemptive mercy he has upon the soul of the repentant sinner.  It is great error to confuse the two.  He judges nations in real time and we endure real suffering with our countrymen.

Eugene Sledge, in With the Old Breed: At Peleliu and Okinawa wrote,Your soul may belong to Jesus, but your ass belongs to the marines.”  Christian belong to Jesus, but He has put us here to do battle in the kingdoms of this world.  We live as citizens of nations even though we have another celestial citizenship.  And we have a role to play here among the nations in which He has placed us.  The truth is that God judges the nations of this world.  And we Christians live in those nations and suffer with our countrymen.  “The rain falls upon the just and the just.”  But we are to be salt and light in this world.  Doing good to our neighbor means that we seek his political wellness as well as his social and bodily wellness.  These realms are all related.  We pray for a man’s soul and yet we visit him, bodily, in jail and we help him in his suffering and try to find relief when we can.  We address the body and the soul.  We concern ourselves with the physical and political world in which the soul resides.  We seek justice and mercy in this world.  We do not withdraw our influence as “Rapture” enthusiasts who have abandoned interest in transforming the world by the Law (e.g. Psalm 2 and Matthew 13 regarding the growth of the Kingdom of God in the earth).

If we love our children and our grandchildren and if we want for them a “decent life” here on earth – if we regard such things as legitimate blessings to be desired – then we must take up the cause of justice in our land.  We must open our mouths; we must take up the instruments necessary to seek and obtain justice for the innocents.

Clinton, the lapsed Southern Baptist, is a picture of the backslidden churches of God whose influence in the political world has been held back.  The Law has been abandoned in favor of the antinomian heresy. One of the early heresies which afflicted the churches of God was one which said that the Law was no longer relevant.  It is all about “grace.”

Shall we “sin that grace may abound?” asked some foolish Christians who advocated for ignoring the Law and living willy-nilly according to one’s happy whims.

“Whoopy!  We can fornicate with all those foxy interns!  Havin’ a good ole time, just like in my hippie days!” says Slick Willie.

No, Willie.  It’s not like that.  The one who receives the truth and abandons it to commit adultery with all the lovely ladies goes to that Other Place.  Sorry.

But it may not be too late.   You will have to repent, however.  Indeed your righteousness must exceed that of a Republican and then some.
