{"id":8083,"date":"2023-12-05T09:07:59","date_gmt":"2023-12-05T14:07:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/michaelbray.org\/?p=8083"},"modified":"2023-12-05T09:07:59","modified_gmt":"2023-12-05T14:07:59","slug":"the-holy-church","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/michaelbray.org\/?p=8083","title":{"rendered":"The Holy Church?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A &#8220;church&#8221; that will not drop sinners (of which category practicing heretics are included) from its membership rolls is <em>no church<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">God&#8217;s church is holy.&nbsp; It <em>practices <\/em>discipline.&nbsp; It corrects or shuns heretics and excommunicates those who <em>walk in error<\/em> (e.g. heresy).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The retention of Biden by the Romanist &#8220;Church&#8221; is a substantial self-denial of its claim to being not only &#8220;holy&#8221; but the &#8220;true&#8221; church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I <em>hate<\/em> to make such a declaration.&nbsp; I hold in high regard and love many of its members.&nbsp; But I must reject any claims it makes to being uniquely true and holy.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What have post WW II Christians thought about those German Christians who silently abided under the reign of Hitler?&nbsp; Were there really any less respectable than Christians who remain in a church with Biden?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Biden, by his perverse public and adamant support of child-slaughter under the guise of&nbsp; &#8220;women&#8217;s rights&#8221; makes a public display of his disgusting apostasy.&nbsp; He ought to be denounced and despised by ANY and EVERY Christian.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A &#8220;church&#8221; which retains him as a member is no church.&nbsp; At best, it is a church is serious error.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">5 Dec., 2023<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A &#8220;church&#8221; that will not drop sinners (of which category practicing heretics are included) from its membership rolls is no church.
