The movie’s full title is “Gosnell: The Trial of America’s Biggest Serial Killer.” I expect to see it soon if for no other reason\u00a0 than to support the effort in hopes that “the message gets out.”\u00a0 I look for forward to that day when we try, convict,\u00a0 and terminate (uh, execute)<\/em> unwanted criminal baby-killers.<\/p>\n Yeah, you know, life goes on – 44 years and counting – Gosnellian monsters notwithstanding.\u00a0\u00a0 We ex-utero folks are safe and sound;\u00a0 we still live and breathe and rear our families and even enjoy some grandchildren.\u00a0\u00a0 And then comes another reminder – even a public and cinematic one.\u00a0 They still butcher babies in the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave.\u00a0 “Gosnell,”\u00a0 the movie, tells the story of an abortionist named Kermit Gosnell.\u00a0 The Grand Jury report, summed up by the Philadelphia Daily News (May 15. 2013),\u00a0 said:<\/p>\n In his squalid West Philadelphia abortion clinic, Kermit Gosnell had a surefire way of dealing with the unwelcome complication of a live birth: He’d allegedly plunge scissors into the squirming newborn’s neck, killing it by severing the spinal cord.<\/p>\n Sometimes, the elderly physician didn’t do this right away. Often, he allegedly gave the chore to his unlicensed office staff. One premature infant wiggled around on a counter for 20 minutes before an untrained worker slit his neck – after first playing with him.<\/p>\n Those allegations were among countless bombshells in a 261-page grand-jury report that District Attorney Seth Williams released yesterday.<\/p>\n Gosnell was charged with infanticide in the deaths of seven viable infants and with murder in the Nov. 20, 2009, death of Karnamaya Mongar, 41, a Nepalese refugee who died of too much anesthesia at Gosnell’s clinic.
