Lest your root become like rot
And the anger of the Lord gets hot
And your blossom blows away like dust,
You better buck up and get it right.
Got all night to get the Law in your sight!
Get a grip on the Word; don’t flow with the herd!
You know His hand is stretched out for a smack-down
The day is comin’ for those who mess around.
Mountains gonna quake and corpses gonna bake;
In that heat you be prayin’ for a lake.
Yeah, those fools done rejected the Law! (14)
All stupid like you never saw!
An’ yet I see His hand still stretched out!
I’m sayin’!\u00a0 What’s it all about? (25)
He’ll go home and lift a standard up! (26)
Find someone with some sense in his brain;
Take His message to Africa or Spain!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
