The Lord said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“You stand before Me in My court;
Your lousy offerings I’ll abort.
Ain’t worth a dime to Me!
Take away your solemn assembly;
Can’t stand all that phony praise!
When you pray, I’ll look the other way; (15)
Not gonna listen, ya filthy animal.
Find someone else to feed your bull!
Your hands are covered with blood;
Cleanin’ you up gonna take a flood!
Here’s what you do to get clean:
You stop bein’ nasty and mean!
Learn to do good and seek justice;
Defend those orphans amongst us. (17)
Call out the wicked and ruthless;
Defend the babies and plead for the widow;
Be nice and give her some dough!
Think about it, you sinners!
I’ll clean you white as snow! (18)
The deal is, you agree and obey;
I’ll take care you, day to day. (19)
But if you want to refuse and be mean,
I’ll flush you right down the latrine.” (20)
But the city of God became a whore. (21)
A place where justice used to reign
Is full of murderers and others morally insane.
Your wine is all watered down. (22)
