Well, that is what I said to myself as I walked around town in Wilmington today, as is my daily practice.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But that line led to a meditation. (Imagine that!) Yeah, I thought: Indeed, there are folks who are facing a much hotter place than this hot day in August! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mercy! That destination site for many of our associates – fellow Americans and folks in foreign lands – is not going to be comfortable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Everyone, each one, knows himself to be a sinner. The condition is readily communicated to our cognizance – from us our senses, our self-image, the response we get from others who know us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Yes, hell does await us and we are quite deserving as we well know – when we are honest with ourselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So, yes, it is hot outside on these summer days. But there is place for us a lot hotter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Best to turn, rather than burn. We can turn to the Savior and receive Him and the mighty deliverance He has provided us from death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
