O man, I had to scoff!
‘Twas a sho-nuf slaughter
An’ I was a boastin’ louder
Than ever I had before
(Almost threw me out the door!)
Well, I got myself together
And humbled myself!
Got quiet like a feather
All light and easy going
And sho’nuff won another round!
Oh she was madder than a hound.
So I just had to sing
“Honey, it\u2019s the end o’ the day
Let’s give it up and go to bed.
These cards can get to your head!”
