Oh the wicked hate the Truth
And ’tis their nature to suppress it
Wandering as they do from to to fro
They throw their lives right out the door
Always looking and asking for more.
But what they find in life as they grind
Is darkness, the end of a fallen mind.
Searching? No just pleasure lurching,
Looking for tingles and jingles,
All mounting to nothing but waste,
The reward for them who had no taste
For the Truth and the Savior.
They went on with bad behavior
And the course was a drag
As each got tired of his hag
Failing to turn from the course
Hell’s indefatigable force
Callin’ on every bankrupt sinner
To that table of the Devil for dinner.
Oh come on out of the darkness!
Find relief from misery and distress.
Trust in the One who relieves
