To the extent that we might interpret this Corona Virus –\nalbeit by the help of sound theological outlook -yea without special claim to\nprophetic insights – to be a genuine\nplague brought to us personally by the Almighty, it would behoove us to take\nstock of our national selves and consider what it might be that we are doing or\ntolerating that would bring on such a calamity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hmm, somehow sodomy and abortion come to mind! (Whence came such notions?) Might we consider re-criminalization of that\nwhich the Almighty deems abomination?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hmm. Simple\nenough. Cease indulging in or tolerating\nthat which He hates! Imagine that. It is worth a think. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the assumption that God has something to do with the\nweather, political events, and international relations along with everything\nelse, we may assume He has something to do with this plague. Hmm. I\nwonder what it might be. . . Hmm, there\nis old story that comes to mind. . . Yes, yes, the flood! (But what is the connection? Hmm. \nLet us ponder the question a moment. . . Hmmm.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ah! Toleration of\nsodomy and abortion! Yes, that’s\nit! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
So, the solution to the problem, i.e. the means to relief\nfrom this judgment, is repentance! Yes,\na change in hearts and political policy. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We just say no to blatant and publically approved sin, and\nwe must recriminalize immoral and (indeed) criminal behavior. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
