Tertullian), the late second century church father, says:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">The worshippers of God will be with God forever, clothed with the proper substance of eternity (&#8220;resurrection flesh&#8221;); but the profane and all who are not wholly devoted to God, in the punishment of fire which is just as eternal. (<em>Apologeticus,<\/em> 48)<\/p>\n<p>Where are you going?\u00a0 How?\u00a0 And why?<\/p>\n<p>What will you be wearing?\u00a0 Got the right clothes for the trip?\u00a0 Got some righteous robes?\u00a0 What will look good on you?\u00a0 Will it fit you?<\/p>\n<p>I wanna be wrapped in &#8220;resurrection flesh&#8221; &#8211; that kind that doesn&#8217;t wear out.\u00a0 Yeah.\u00a0 I want that stuff.\u00a0 Never cared too much about it as I was pressing on to do His will.\u00a0 Too busy trying to advance the Kingdom to stop and think about the &#8220;new garments.&#8221;\u00a0 But the time draws near.\u00a0 And I am reading a fellow from long ago, Quint Tertullian.\u00a0 Maybe we American Christians will call this brother &#8220;Turtle&#8221; up there.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks, Quintus!\u00a0 See ya up there soon.<\/p>\n<p>-MBray, 10 Dec., 2018 Anno Domini<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Quintus Septimius Florens Tertullianus (a.k.a.
