This issue (no. 31), like the previous (Wint, 1999), was small (two pages, rather than twelve).\u00a0 The title was inspired by a Larry Norman<\/strong> song of prophetic lamentation. We inveighed against the Abortion President whom we hold, even today, in greater disdain than we do\u00a0 the communist ideologue currently in office.\u00a0 Clinton was a hedonist, who put his personal decadent pleasures above any political ideals.\u00a0\u00a0 As such has earned the greater scorn.\u00a0 But, it is acknowledged, He has not answered our imprecatory prayers.<\/p>\n The passing of the Y2K scare found us both relieved and disappointed.\u00a0 The nation is well deserving of a good spanking from On High.\u00a0\u00a0And yet, without His grace, we, Adam’s sin-ridden descendants would not even have been born.<\/p>\n We proclaim, again, that the foundation of civil law must be the Law of God as the Scriptures affirm (Rom. 13:1-7; Eph. 1:22; Col. 1:16).\u00a0 Reference is made to the colonial constitutions and legislatures as precedents (p. 1).<\/p>\n With the federal court seizing the property of Indiana Baptism Temple<\/strong>, we note that “We have come a long from a time wen the colonies taxed their citizens to support the established church<\/em>” (p. 2).<\/p>\n O “I have a dream.”\u00a0 I see “a governor issuing an executive order.\u00a0 I see him shutting down the abortuaries in his state and enforcing the longstanding statutes which outlaw homosexual<\/strong> acts” (p. 2)<\/p>\n We commend Matt Trewhella<\/strong> and Mercy Seat Christian Church<\/strong> in Milwaukee for their “sustained confrontation and resistance to tyranny”\u00a0 and anticipate his attendance at the upcoming White Rose Banquet<\/strong> (p. 2).<\/p>\n
