Feldmeyer torture<\/b> (<i>Journal<\/i>, 13 October, 2006)? Let us define what we mean by \u201ctorture.\u201d\u00a0 Less amorphous is <i>this<\/i> definition of torture: &#8220;the ripping of appendages from a body, the slicing of a live un-anesthetized body into parts, and the crushing of the skull.&#8221;\u00a0 That simple definition describes, of course, what we all know as an occurrence we tolerate daily in abortion &#8220;clinics&#8221; across the land.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Feldmeyer, and his United Methodist denomination, approve of such torture in the name of \u00a0\u201cwomen\u2019s rights\u201d and \u201cfreedom of choice.\u201d\u00a0 He declares, in his complaint about our government\u2019s \u201ctorture\u201d of terrorists: \u201cThere is such a thing as right and wrong and torture falls at the top of the list in the \u2018wrong\u2019 column.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When Mr. Feldmeyer can remove the log from his own eye and condemn the 4,000 daily tortures of American children, I\u2019ll listen to his views on \u201ctorturing\u201d terrorists.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>15 October, 2006 Dear Editor, \u00a0Whom would Rev.
