The book was cited as a cause to include Bray as a defendant in the $ 1.4 billion Planned Parenthood complaint (<strong><em>Planned Parenthood v. American Coalition of Life Activists<\/em><\/strong>) filed against him and twelve other defendants in the U.S. District Court of Oregon in the fall of 1995. Spent four years in federal prison (1985-1989) in connection with the destruction of several abortion facilities in the D.C. area. Prevailing defendant in the Supreme Court decision known as <strong><em>Bray v. Alexandria<\/em><\/strong>. Appearances on numerous radio and TV talk shows discussing the justification for protecting the &#8220;fetus&#8221; with deadly force. Co-pastor of <strong>Reformation Lutheran Church<\/strong> in Bowie, MD, 1984-2003. Hosted with Reformation Lutheran Church the annual <strong> White Rose Banquet<\/strong> 1996 &#8211; 2001. Banquet was held in Washington D. C. to honor otherwise shunned convicts for their anti-abortion deeds. Co-founder of the <strong>Bowie-Crofton Pregnancy Center<\/strong> in 1982.<\/p>\n<p>B.A. in English from Rockmont College (now Colorado Christian University), M.A. in New Testament from Denver Seminary; author of scholarly essays (Evangelical Theological Society), two books, publisher and editor of a quarterly 12-page newsletter, <strong><em>Capitol Area Christian News<\/em><\/strong> (1991-2000); columnist for the monthly <strong><em>Life Advocate<\/em><\/strong> magazine for four years (until it was sued out of existence by the PP v. ALCA case); 3 years as assistant director of entertainment at Denver\u2019s Casa Bonita (restaurant); proficiency in two languages (German and Spanish); extensive travel and cultural exposure throughout U.S., Europe, and Turkey; 12 years directing a Christian school, teaching middle and high school; abundant experience in communication with major media reporters and journalists in print, radio, and TV since 1981 in connection with anti-abortion activism (has been interviewed by most major papers including<em> Boston Globe, L.A. Times, New York Times, USA Today, Washington Post,<\/em> <em> Washington Times<\/em>; numerous appearances on talk radio; <strong><em>60 Minutes<\/em><\/strong>; <em>HBO<\/em> special; several foreign media)<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Sire of 11 children by the most excellent wife in the land.\u00a0Grandfather of 8 and counting.\u00a0Grown children include a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, a social worker with a graduate degree from the University of South Carolina, a graduate of Malone University employed as a paramedic, a graduate of Wright State University working for a private pro-marriage foundation and a crisis pregnancy center, a graduate of Covenant College with a degree in middle school education who is teaching in a \u00a0Chattanooga government \u201cpublic education\u201d school.\u00a0 The twins recently graduated from Wheaton and Liberty\u00a0University. Two are in college.
