Fame and Glory Amiss

When we gain our own fame,
That of others soon pales
And we see the world anew.
There are things much greater
Than the famous, even me and you.
Yes, the Almighty is the One to be adored
And by comparison makes us bored
To even think of the glory of humanity
With all its foolishness and insanity.
