To Our Mormon Visitors
29 Sept., 2022
Dear Mormons (or “Latter Day Saints” – as you fancy yourselves),
For an eternity, before He made anything (angels, dirt, people), God existed as one God in three persons. There was eternal love between the three persons of this God-head. Thus have the (faithful) churches among all the denominations (Baptist, Presbyterian, Lutheran, Roman Catholic, Orthodox, Pentecostals, Methodists) taught down through the centuries.
The Scriptures give us a warning against you. But the warning is also for you who have ears. It says, “If any man is preaching a gospel contrary to what you received, he is to be accursed!” (See Gal. 1:9; Acts 8:20; 1 Cor. 16:22; 1 Tim. 4:14; yes, the Lord foresaw your arrival.) Strong words about the fate of false teachers.
Best to get a grip on yourselves! Your “gospel” is as fake one. And your propagation of heresy will be one of many items listed on the indictment which commissions you to hell – apart from repentance: renunciation of your false teaching unto the embracing of the triune God. Indeed, God (the Son) was sent by God (the Father), accompanied by God (the Holy Spirit) to indwell those who repent from their sins and walk with His people worshiping Him.
An accurate summary of the true Christian faith, may be found in the early creeds (I.e. Apostles, Athanasian, Nicene). Begin there and find a church that affirms such creeds (formally or substantially).
It is important to realize that your association with a religious group which denies these fundamental truths (the Trinity, the deity of Jesus, justification by faith in His atonement, the fellowship of the Church) bodes poorly for your future.
P.s.
While on the subject of false teaching and identifying many others in danger of judgment by their rejection of the Messiah, we could mention such groups as Jehovah’s Witnesses, Muslims, The Way (Victor Paul Wierville), Moonies, Jews (by their denial of Jesus as God, and Messiah, the second person of the Trinity), and “liberal Christians” who reject the Scriptures (which declare the one-and-only God, the Trinity, and affirm the deity of Jesus, the only Savior).
Take stock of yourselves and truly seek the Truth.
Sincerely,
Michael Bray
