Thinking of you
I do
And the land
Shifts under my feet.
O how sweet
Was life when you
Were with us
With laughter and joy
Over everything.
You did live it well
But who can tell
Of the fulfillment of a course
When the One who gave life
Ends it without notice?
Oh, He knows more than any
What He is doing!
And so we repair to prayer
Thankful for a life lived.
